ACCELL Cellular Relocates Headquarters

ACCELL Cellular, a national prepaid cellular phone and airtime marketing company announced today that it is relocating its corporate headquarters to Northern Virginia. The new office will handle all corporate operations including finance and strategic planning.

Alexandria, Virginia October 12, 2004 -- ACCELL Cellular, a national prepaid cellular phone and airtime marketing company announced today that it is relocating its corporate headquarters to Northern Virginia. The new offices, located at 2121 Eisenhower Avenue in Alexandria, Virginia, will handle all corporate operations including finance and strategic planning. ACCELL will continue to have its sales and customer service organizations in its current Hartford, Connecticut office.

James D. Rivette, Chairman & CEO, and Kent A. Brown, President & COO, of ACCELL issued a joint statement saying, This move is the next step in our ongoing plan to increase ACCELL's visibility and to position the company to handle its vastly increased customer base. Upcoming steps will apply Voice over IP (VOIP) technologies to enhance our customer service, will add mid-western and western distributors to our network of distributors, and will move ACCELL into web based e-commerce. A headquarters base in the D.C. metropolitan area will dramatically increase ACCELLs opportunities for new product launches, channel development and personnel recruitment. Our rapid growth in customer subscriptions demands that we position ACCELL to provide higher levels of customer service and new prepaid products and services. Rivette and Brown are both former senior executives of Dulles based Shared Technologies Fairchild.

ACCELL INC. is a nationwide provider of prepaid cellular products and services. It sells primarily through a strong network of dealers and distributors. Phone products include LG, SANYO, Samsung and Kyocera. Network services are provided by Sprint, Verizon, Cingular and T Mobile. In addition to regular prepaid plans, ACCELL subscribers can join CLUB CONNECT which allows the member to have prepaid services automatically paid on a bi-monthly, semi annual or annual basis through a credit or ATM card.
